Dutchtallships.com to Australia
After finishing the 11th Antarctic season in Cape Town in 2013 there is an opportunity for the Bark EUROPA to sail to Australia. Over there we will join the International Fleet review of the Australian Navy, early October 2013. The Bark EUROPA will not go solo: the 'Oosterschelde' and Tecla are also planning on sailing to Australia.
The ships will gather in Cape Town from where the voyage to Australia starts. There most probably will be several legs to join: to Madagascar onwards to Mauritius, Reunion and Fremantle. We are also planning on joining the Tall Ships Races from Hobart, Tasmania to Sydney, Australia and onwards to Auckland, New Zealand.
Though the planning for these voyage is not final yet we already got some very enthousiastic response to this idea. Please send us an email if you want to stay informed on these voyages.
