Dear website visitors,
Many thanks for your enthusiastic reactions to our guestbook. We hope it will enable you to share your experiences of your trip on the EUROPA or get in touch again with some of your fellow travellers. Have you booked a berth on one of the future trips?
This is your opportunity to contact the other trainees that will join your trip! Please note that it is not possible for trainees sailing on board of the EUROPA to read the guestbook; they have no access to internet.
Kind regards from the EUROPA team,
Marijke Jäger - Liza de Kurver - Reinoud van der Heijden – Leentje Toering
Spurgeon and Janice: Thanks for the advice. OK!
Dean, Thanks for taking us with you to Antarctica! It almost seems like you should of been able to make it around the world and back here again with all that traveling. It must be so cool being somewhere so different, penguins, snow leopards, and icebergs.I ran my marathon yeterday and it was 27 degrees at race start, no where near what you will be dealing with. Although there were some hazards with ice on the roads.I'll write a report a little later, I will let you all know that I did hit my goal. I finished in 3:33:53, over 10 minutes less from my previous PR.Go get em Dean!
Spurgeon and Janice: Thanks for the advice. Took the last two days off as it was difficult enough to carry the 35 lbs two and a half year old up the stairs and legs feel like logs, but going to hit the road for a couple of miles before work tomorrow. Already have another ultra lined up for Feb next year.Janice: Funny thing you mentioned the Space Coast Marathon as that was where my dedication to running really started last year after I quit smoking in Aug 07. Had to have something to strive for as reward right? So what better than to run 26.2. Hope you have unseasonably cool weather for your run as it was 85 for my first. I happen to be from there originally so thats why I chose it.
